Bhakti & Kirtan

Bhakti is booming: More and more Bhakti events, Bhakti music, and Bhakti trends are emerging. At the same time, the term Bhakti, which originates from Sanskrit, is understood in different ways today.

For us, Bhakti is not only love, devotion, and mindfulness, but the conscious alignment of heart and action with the Divine—held in a spirit of loving care and inner connectedness.

Bhakti is not directed toward the ego, profit, sense gratification, or the accumulation of knowledge. And yet—or precisely because of this—the path of Bhakti Yoga can offer a deep joy and inner contentment that has the power to transform one’s entire life.

One of the key practices in Bhakti yoga is communal mantra singing, also known as kirtan. In kirtan, participants sing mantras together, with one person leading the melody and everyone else joining in. This creates a powerful, uplifting sense of unity, calming the mind and naturally opening the heart.

Community

Embracing

Diversity

We embrace a diverse range of spiritual traditions, musical styles, and therapeutic approaches. Anything that nurtures the development of bhakti is welcomed.

Honoring

other Paths

We are grateful for all that we have received on our own spiritual path and recognize this divine grace in other traditions as well.

Living in the
Here and Now

We are nourished by ancient spiritual traditions while embracing the opportunities of modern times and confronting their challenges.

Learning from

Each Other

Our workshop leaders are eager to share their knowledge and skills, and there is ample space for everyone to exchange experiences and insights.

Welcoming

Vulnerability

Everyone is welcome to be themselves – with their strengths and weaknesses. It is only through embracing our vulnerability that we can fully develop our unique potential.

Letting go
with Trust

When we release our desire for control, we can fully immerse ourselves in the divine flow. At the festival, we will share many magical moments of collective leadership!
