The Kirtan Family Band

A lively and steadily growing community has formed around the monthly kirtans in Berlin. Between 200 and 300 people regularly come together to chant with the Kirtan Family Band—in churches, concert halls, or outdoors.

The band combines the depth of traditional Sanskrit mantras with modern musical influences, creating a powerful communal experience.

The Kirtan Family Band consists of: Norema Pauw (lead vocals & harmonium), Sabrishnu (percussion), Kay Peter Recher (bass & percussion), Felix Wallerand (bass & guitar), Roman Görlacher (piano & guitar), Felix Leela Arun (handpan), Andreas Grotekemper (harmonium & vocals), and Joachim Dicks (guitar & vocals).

For the past three years, the BhaktiBloom Festival has been growing through the people who carry it with their hearts, devotion, and music. Many kirtaniyas have been part of the festival since the very beginning, shaping its unique atmosphere and helping the vision of BhaktiBloom blossom and evolve year after year.

This year again, these musicians inspire and touch us deeply with their voices, presence, and heartfelt music.

The BhaktiBloom Family includes Lara, Nandini, Gadadhara, Muni, Karuna, Shammi, Fabi, and Steffi, among many other wonderful souls who make the festival a vibrant space for connection, community, and inspiration.

Seth Lieberman

Everyone loves Seth — and Seth loves BhaktiBloom :-)! That's why he'll be enriching our festival for the fourth year in a row!

A multi-instrumentalist, Bhakti Yogi, and harmonium teacher, he brings real soul, presence, and joy into everything he does.

His background is in classical music – he studied composition and clarinet – but his deep love for Kirtan has been guiding him for many years now.

And here’s something special: One week before the festival, Seth will offer a Harmonium Workshop Weekend in Berlin – a beautiful chance to dive deeper into Kirtan and Bhakti through sound.
